JENNIFER KATZ ESPENSHIP

“A jury consists of six persons chosen to decide who has the better lawyer.  Make sure that the lawyer you decide as your representative knows what you want. A true advocate has your best interests in mind."

JULIE AGENT

SCHLAX

“With great power comes great responsibility.  People deserve to be treated with respect throughout the entire criminal justice process."

WHEN BAD TIMES HAPPEN TO GOOD PEOPLE

We understand that life can sometimes take a turn for the worse. Our commitment is to provide excellent legal advocacy, while providing the support necessary to get you through these difficult times.

With over 30 years of combined criminal law courtroom experience, we are committed to fighting for your rights. Whether you are merely being questioned by the police, or facing formal PROSECUTION of any CRIME, you have RIGHTS which we will ensure are protected.

Are you currently under investigation by law enforcement?  Arrested?  Being charged with any criminal offense is a stressful event, and leaves most people with a number of questions and concerns.  The most important thing you can do is immediately consult and retain an experienced criminal attorney to thoroughly invesitgate your case and take prompt action to protect your rights. Very often, time is critical because the State Attorney has only 21 days to make a filiing decision in YOUR case.  Many of the crimes people are charged with are not even PROVABLE by the State Attorney's Office.  Our combined experience allows ud to immediately spot issues and take action on your behalf.

BEGIN WITH A CLEAN SLATE (SEAL/EXPUNGE)

You may be eligible to have an arrest sealed and/or expunged.  In Florida, the “sealing” and “expunging” of a criminal record is the process whereby a person, upon meeting specified eligibility requirements, petitions a court for an order that either limits access to their criminal record (sealing), or commands the destruction of the record (expungement).  A Florida criminal record that is sealed or expunged has invaluable benefits in terms of employment prospects, acceptance into universities and colleges, professional memberships, approval of loan applications, insurance premiums, eligibility for promotions, your reputation in the community, and other critical aspects of your daily life.
